Who is it for?

Regular hikers able to walk two days of 5 to 6 hours. From age 12 with an adult. An ideal first hut experience.

How the day unfolds

  1. Day 1, 9 am

    Start from Le Grand-Bornand, climb through pastures and summer chalets

  2. Day 1, 1 pm

    Picnic at the pass, then a balcony traverse below the ridges

  3. Day 1, 5 pm

    Arrival at the hut, settling in, drinks facing Mont Blanc

  4. Day 1, 7:30 pm

    Mountain dinner, then stargazing

  5. Day 2, 6:30 am

    Sunrise from the ridge, often above the sea of clouds

  6. Day 2, 9 am

    Breakfast, descent through another valley, back around 3 pm

The spirit of the outing

Take the time a day trip never allows: evening light, a shared meal, the silence of a night at altitude. You come back changed, and a bit more of a mountain person.

Quel équipement dois-je prévoir ?

Chaussures de randonnée à tige montante, sac à dos de 20–30 L, eau (1,5 L), vêtements chauds et coupe-vent, casquette, crème solaire et pique-nique selon la sortie.
